Melanie L. Bondy, author of Envision, offers five seminar options for schools and school districts. These special staff development opportunities will excite teachers to challenge and inspire their students with Envision right away!

Conference Length Option
Option 1
Envision Overview
Time Range: 45 minutes – 1¼ hours
Ms. Bondy provides a motivational overview of the Envision program including its background, layout of materials, project highlights and samples, student stories, and applicability to your school’s or district’s gifted situation. This seminar includes time for participant questions.*
$500.00 plus Travel Expenses (see below)
Half Day Options
Option 2
Envision Overview and Guidance
Time Range: Half Day
Ms. Bondy provides a motivational overview of the Envision program including its background, layout of materials, project highlights and samples, student stories and applicability to your school’s or district’s gifted situation. She then provides personal guidance through the Envision forms and its general procedures. This seminar includes time for participant questions.*
$600.00 plus Travel Expenses (see below)
Option 3
Curriculum Compacting
and Curriculum Acceleration
Time Range: Half Day
Ms. Bondy begins with an overview of gifted students and their needs. She then provides step-by-step training on curriculum compacting and curriculum acceleration. This seminar includes many useful handouts and forms, and saves time for participant questions.*
$800.00 plus Travel Expenses (see below)
Full Day Options

Envision/Curriculum Combo
Time Range: Full Day
Ms. Bondy combines the above seminar options (2 & 3) for a full-day seminar. This seminar includes many useful handouts and forms, and includes time for participant questions.*

Option 5
Envision Training
Time Range: Full Day
Ms. Bondy provides a motivational overview of the Envision program including its background, layout of materials, project highlights and samples, student stories and applicability to your school’s or district’s gifted situation. She then provides detailed training through the Envision forms and procedures. This seminar includes time for participant questions and collaboration.*
$1,000.00 plus Travel Expenses (see below)
*Ms. Bondy requests at least one administrator be present for the seminar.
Travel Expenses
Arrangements:
Ms. Bondy will drive within a reasonable distance of 250 miles or less, one way. If the distance is greater than 250 miles one way, Ms. Bondy may choose to secure herself a flight for each way and a rental car. If an overnight stay is required Ms. Bondy may choose to make her own lodging arrangements.
Billing:
The school or district will initially be invoiced for the chosen Seminar Option Fee above and any Envision programs or additional card sets purchased in advance. The school or district will be sent a final invoice for the above seminar Arrangements following the seminar. Ms. Bondy’s mileage fee is $0.58 per mile traveled. Ms. Bondy’s travel arrangements are reasonable. She does her best to find affordable travel and lodging accommodations. Ms. Bondy will not take advantage of your school or district’s money!
If schools or districts are willing to coordinate presentation schedules, Ms. Bondy is willing to divide travel expenses between them as long as the timing and travel distance are within reason. Ms. Bondy will make the final decisions regarding coordination of presentation schedules and the division of travel expenses.
Materials
Purchasing an Envision program for each seminar participant is highly recommended but not required. Ms. Bondy often provides handout packets for participants. She will email the pdfs in advance for the district to copy for each attendee. If there are any other materials needed, Ms. Bondy will discuss these with the school’s representative prior to finalizing the contract.
Cancellations
Cancellation by Ms. Bondy:
Cancellation by Ms. Bondy may occur on very rare occasions. In the event that a cancellation must be made, she will inform the school or district as soon as she can, and will reschedule at the nearest available date. The school or district will be invoiced only for the rescheduled travel and lodging expenses and the rescheduled seminar fee. If the school or district chooses not to reschedule, the situation will be handled as if the school or district made the cancellation (see below).
Cancellation by the School or District:
Cancellation by the school or district must be made at least 20 days prior to the school or district’s scheduled seminar. If the school or district cancels the seminar, all non-refundable travel and lodging expenses, and half of the seminar fee will be invoiced to the school or district.
If the school or district must cancel with less than 20 days notice, all non-refundable travel and lodging expenses, and the entire seminar fee will be invoiced to the school or district.
Equipment
Ms. Bondy will bring her own laptop, speakers, and projector. Please provide a screen to project onto, a table or cart on which to place her equipment, and two three-prong outlets within a reasonable distance from the equipment table or cart. Ms. Bondy does not require a microphone for groups of 40 participants or less.
Please provide tables, chairs, or shelf tops to display 8-10 student display boards for the Envision presentation.
Payment
Ms. Bondy must receive the seminar fee payment, and payment for any Envision programs or additional card sets purchased in advance, prior to her travel for the seminar. Purchase orders are accepted as proof of a payment being processed.
Mind Vine Press will send a final invoice to the school or district for the balance owed following the seminar. The final invoice will include the expense totals for the travel expense arrangements made. Payment for the balance of the final invoice will be due within 30 days of the invoice date.
